This is a free online tool that allows you to convert audio files from and to the following formats: mp3, .wav, .flac, .m4a, .m4r, .mka, .amr, .ogg, .au, .wma y .acc; several of which are managed by different operative and mobile systems. Thanks to this tool, it is also possible to perform basic editing and to combine two sound tracks. This is a recommended alternative for inexperienced users that don’t need to perform complex tasks with their audio files. The tool is available in English.

Free and open source software for recording and editing sound. It has versions for various operative systems and it´s available in Spanish. Getty images is one of the largest image database worldwide, given to the fact that during its growth process it has acquired other similar sites and this has broadened its offer significantly. This site offers the possibility of downloading royalty free, good resolution pictures, illustrations and images with only creating an account. There´s also the option of buying better resolution images at comfortable prices according to the needs of the client.

This website in English offers people the opportunity to request specific illustrative material that they haven´t found on the Internet. The idea is that there is a team of voluntary photographers, that depending on the request, take the photo that the client has asked for and they do it for free. An important percentage of the requests are not answered, but it´s worth it to participate in this community that has an interesting idea and reflects a clear collaborative philosophy.

This website in English offers the option of choosing images according to their geographical location. When you enter Whoopy the first thing you see is a world map. You just have to indicate the country from which you would like to get pictures and as you approach it the selection criteria becomes more specific. In order to download and use the pictures you must be registered.

Picasa is an online tool that belongs to Google and that allows you to organize, retouch and share all kinds of digital images. This tool is useful to create photo catalogs and to announce them privately to clients that may be interested in your product.

Online photograph management system that combines the traditional features of a digital file (sorts pictures by categories, allows the author to write his or her profile and gives users the chance to send the images by email with comments attached to them) with some specific tools from digital image treatment programs.
Aviary

Aviary allows us to carry out the complete editing process of an image. Although it is not a replacement for desktop programs, such as Illustrator or Photoshop, it is one of the best in the cloud free alternatives for users. Each application has a short introductory video which helps us get acquainted with the program. All of the creations developed with this tool can be stored in our profile (in the cloud) or they can be exported and downloaded into our hard drive. The files created with Aviary are compatible with jpeg, gif, png, mp3 and wav files. The following tools are available on Aviary:
Image editor: This tool has enough basic options for you to edit images or photographs. It´s a sort of free online Photoshop that allows you to export your work in formats such as .jpg, .gif o .tiff, among others.
Vector editor: This tool allows you to execute vector designs such as posters, brochures and CD or book covers. It´s similar to Corel or Illustrator in its features, with the advantage that it´s available online and it´s easy to use.
Color Editor: It´s a complement of tools such as Image Editor or Vector Editor. It allows users to create color palates, mix them up and obtain color codes.
Effects Editor: This tool facilitates the creation and editing of images, allowing users to add special visual effects and filters that are totally compatible with other Aviary tools.
Image Markup: This tool has a number of features that turn out to be ideal to do “markers” or “tags” for tutorials, as well as assessment and clarification notes that can be placed on images or photographs.
Screen Capture: This is a complement or extension for Firefox that allows you to capture items from the screen and open them up directly with an image editor program, with which you can mark the images (draw arrows and rectangles), edit them (cut, rotate and change their size) and obtain the exact color palate used in the image. A perfect tool for designers and bloggers.
Audio Editor: This tool is useful to mix and apply sound effects to music tracks and audio clips, as well as for recording voice and musical instruments.
